“Złota Góra” Car Park in Ojców is an official Ojców National Park car park located above the centre of Ojców. It is an important starting point for exploring Ojców National Park and the main parking option for organised groups arriving by coach.

The car park is unguarded and subject to parking fees throughout the year. The car park and its immediate surroundings are covered by 24-hour CCTV monitoring.

Złota Góra provides parking spaces for passenger cars and other vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, as well as parking for vehicles with a maximum authorised mass above 3.5 tonnes, including coaches.

Złota Góra Car Park – 2026 parking fees

• passenger car – PLN 8 for each started hour,
• motorcycle – PLN 5 for each started hour,
• camper van, bus, minibus, delivery vehicle or trailer – PLN 12 for each started hour,
• coach – PLN 30 for each started hour or PLN 60 for 4 hours when a four-hour ticket is purchased in a single transaction.

Parking fees apply every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout the year, including weekends and public holidays.

How do I pay for parking at Złota Góra?

After entering the car park, the appropriate parking fee should be paid without delay. According to the current Ojców National Park regulations, drivers have 15 minutes from entering the car park to make the payment.

You can pay for parking:

• with coins at the parking meter,
• by payment card at the parking meter,
• using a mobile parking application, if this payment option is currently made available by the car park operator.

Card payment may occasionally be unavailable for technical reasons, so it is advisable to have an alternative payment method available.

When using the parking meter, make sure you enter the correct vehicle registration number. The printed ticket must be displayed in a clearly visible place behind the front windscreen. For motorcycles, payment verification is carried out electronically.

What if your visit to Ojców takes longer than expected?

If your paid parking period is about to expire, you must purchase additional parking time so that there is no break in the paid parking period.

The following situations may be treated as failure to pay the required parking fee:

• failure to pay within 15 minutes of entering the car park,
• exceeding the paid parking period,
• a break between consecutive parking payments,
• failure to display the printed ticket behind the front windscreen,
• entering an incorrect vehicle registration number,
• paying according to the wrong vehicle tariff.

The current additional charge is PLN 300. If it is paid within 2 days, including the day on which the charge was issued, a 70% discount applies. In this case, the amount payable is PLN 90.

Is a Złota Góra parking ticket also valid at Pod Zamkiem?

No. A parking fee paid at one Ojców National Park car park does not entitle you to park at another OPN car park in a different location.

If you pay for parking at Złota Góra and later drive to the Pod Zamkiem Car Park in the centre of Ojców, a new parking fee must be paid, even if the parking time purchased at Złota Góra has not yet expired.

Coach parking in Ojców

Coaches are permitted to park at Złota Góra. This is particularly important for school trips, organised groups and travel agencies, as coaches and buses with a maximum authorised mass above 3.5 tonnes are not permitted to park at the Pod Zamkiem Car Park.

The coach parking fee at Złota Góra is PLN 30 for each started hour. A four-hour ticket for PLN 60 is also available when purchased in a single transaction.

When planning a coach trip, remember to allow sufficient time for the group to walk between the car park and the centre of Ojców.

Buses, camper vans and trailers

Camper vans, buses, minibuses, delivery vehicles and trailers are charged PLN 12 for each started hour at Złota Góra.

Please note that a trailer, including a caravan, is treated as a separate vehicle. This means that a separate parking fee must be paid for the towing vehicle and for the trailer. The bus tariff applies to trailers.

Parking for visitors with disabilities

Designated parking spaces are available for vehicles transporting people with disabilities.

Using a designated disabled parking space does not exempt the vehicle from the parking fee. The required parking permit should be displayed in a clearly visible place.

If all designated spaces are occupied, a vehicle transporting a person with a disability may use another available parking space.

Electric and hybrid vehicles

Electric and hybrid vehicles are also subject to the standard parking fee according to the relevant vehicle category.

How do I get from Złota Góra to the centre of Ojców?

The Złota Góra Car Park is located above the Prądnik Valley. The centre of Ojców can be reached on foot along marked hiking trails. The shortest route is approximately 1.5 km.

The centre can be reached using the black and green marked trails. Another option is a longer walk of approximately 2 km through the picturesque Sąspowska Valley.

Please remember that the return walk to the car park is uphill, so it is worth allowing some additional time and energy for the walk back to your car or coach.

Złota Góra or Pod Zamkiem – which car park should I choose?

Złota Góra is a good choice for visitors planning a longer stay and a walk through Ojców National Park. It is also the appropriate parking option for organised groups travelling by coach.

If you prefer to park directly in the centre of Ojców, close to the ruins of Ojców Castle, see the Pod Zamkiem Car Park in Ojców.

On sunny weekends, public holidays and during the peak tourist season, parking spaces may fill up quickly. Arriving in Ojców earlier in the day is therefore recommended.

Złota Góra is particularly convenient for groups arriving by coach, because coaches are permitted to park here, while the Pod Zamkiem Car Park cannot be used by this type of vehicle.
