Ojców National Park - How to visit?

How to visit the Ojców National Park? There are several ways to do it, but it must be said simply that it is best to explore the park on foot.

How to visit the Ojców National Park? Definitely on foot ... although there are some additional options.

Ojców National Park is the smallest national park in Poland. Thus, it is best visited on foot following the tourist routes marked by the management of the Ojców National Park. These trails lead to the most interesting tourist attractions in the parks and through the most picturesque corners of the Prądnik Valley.

Visiting the Ojców National Park is worth dividing into two separate sightseeing areas - southern and northern.

To the south of Ojców there are many interesting tourist attractions and it is this part that is most often chosen for hiking. The local routes lead straight from below the Ojców Castle down the valley towards Krakowska Gate, Łokietka Cave or Dark Cave. Along the way, you'll also pass amazing places such as the Spring of Love, views of the set of rocks of the Crown Mountain or even the Ojców Trout Breeding Ponds. And this is only a fragment of the picturesque places of this part of Ojców National Park.

The northern part of Ojców National Park is famous for two unique places in Poland. It is here that Hercules 'club stands and on one high rocky shelf one of the most beautiful castles on the Trail of the Eagles' Nests - Pieskowa Skala.

The distance between these two clusters of Ojców tourist attractions - Pieskowa Skała is about 8 km. A lot not a lot but it is worth going here even on foot. You can also get here by bike or organize a carriage ride from Ojców ... eventually by car but remember that you will have to pay for parking the car in local parking lots and by bike you can, for example, drive to the gate of the Castle in Pieskowa Skala for free! Certainly, to visit Ojców National Park you do not have to go by car saving fuel and parking fees and take advantage of the possibility of public transport - How to get to Ojców?

You should not forget about the attractions that await you in the Pradnik Valley itself on the route between Ojców and Pieskowa Skała - Look at the Boroniówek and Grodzisk Water Mill with the Hermitage of the Blessed Salomea - it's really worth it!
