FROM KRAKOW TO OJCOW

From Cracow to Ojcow you can get on many ways with bicycle, however I will introduce three the most popular routs.

Rout number 1

First rout leads road No. 94 Cracow - Olkusz called "olkuska road". From center of Cracow go to northern direction in side of departure on Olkusz (neighbourhoods Macro, Ikea). Later waits for us the drive by the shoulder of rout, ok. 16 km in direction to Olkusz. In locality Murownia turn in right, in road then on which is the ban of movement of cars. In front of us just about 6 km to centre Ojcowa - majority of this road leads from hill by forest with interesting serpentines. The length of whole rout from centre of Cracow to centre Ojcowa carries about 27 km.  

Pluses:
- ride with asphalt shoulder
- interesting final section (downhill ride to Ojcowa) 

Minuses:
- considerable car movement (noise, emissions)
- a few driveways

Rout number 2

The Second Rout is for persons who liking a little freeer drive roads not only by the asphalt. Rout leads by the red trail called "Route of the Eagle's Nests". It begins in Cracow on settlement Krowodrza near bus loop. After we abandon the city we go with side roads, field roads, forests footpaths and after about 10 km of drive route come to Pradnik Valley. From this place all road going by the asphalt road along valley to Ojcow. We hold on all the time to the red trail. The length of whole rout from centre of Cracow carries out about 24 km. 

Pluses:
- varied rand plenary views rout
- small car movement
- rout for persons which do not like monotony  

Minuses:
- on this rout can by a mud so it can by there very slipperily. But for some this is a huge plus!

Rout number 3

This rout is the most quickly way to get to Ojcowa by bicycle. Total length this rout is about 22 km . From centre of Cracow go to north on housing estate "Biały Prądnik" - White Pradnik. Go with road No. 794 through the locality Zielonki in direction to Wolbrom and Skała. This road is without road shoulder so for that reason it is necessary to be careful!! After about 10 km in locality Januszowice turn in left on Korzkiew. Then turn in first road on left through bridge and cross near horses' stud farm. After about 1 km turn in right to Prądnik Valley. Now the rout is very pleasant, it leads narrow asphalt road along the valley. Holding on red pedestrian of route you will arrive to Ojcowa.

- there is no larger driveways
- the majority of rout leads with asphalt
  
Minuses:
- there is no road shoulder on section about 10 km!
- there is the considerable car movement on beginning half of this rout
